Your Healing Presence (A Poem about God)

A peace my heart has not known

Until I felt your healing presence

You bless us with your forgiveness and grace

Natural beauty, signs, words and other faces

Are ways that your guidance is shown

I am never truly lost

For in you I am found

I am never truly alone

Your omnipresence calls me home

You've blessed this world with abundant gifts

A home cooked meal, a child's laugh, a scenic view

And fill me with a sense of wonder

Which makes my old life seem fresh and new

O blessed are we to know your name O Lord

You heal the sick, feed the hungry, and give shelter to those in need

You give us courage and strength, when we think we cannot succeed

You bless us with gifts to serve others

And in doing so, we serve you as well

These sacred gifts you give us spread joy far and wide

And it'd all be impossible without You, by our side.
